Excellent reports and pictures on here Doogz! Entertaining reading. I have a question.. Whats the road along the glen like? Is it passable with the average car or is it a road for 4x4s. Just realised how close these hills are and only really been put off by the private road and track you see on the map.

Yes, another great report - I seemed to have missed this one. Your titles are great - good to see someone attempting phonetic gaelic pronunciation

No problems with the road Alanm, it's proper tarmac.

As Paul said its tarmac all the way..one of the flattest best roads i have been on..hardly a bump :D

once you get to the gate the wee lady at the house takes your registration then you are away..phone to check openings....

on the board at the carpark it says closed sunday??this is not the case..9am on a sunday so plenty time for a long lie in..
the house on the estate is stunning with pristuine lawns and fences of the smoothest straightest cuts i have ever seen for a perimeter fence

Tarmac! Really, I had no idea....no excuses now then.

Do they let you camp? Whats the deal with cyclists? Sounds ideal for a cycle-camp-walk-cycle weekend. Hate cycling next to traffic......Maybe I should just phone the people, I'll let you know when I know. :D

Cheers for the info
