Little Mell Fell

I have just spent a couple of days with the family in the Lake District and introduced the Kids to some of the smaller Wainwrights.The first of these was Little Mell Fell which for it's size gives great views.
The children enjoyed it although I had to carry the smaller of them, her legs are too small at the moment.

It's been a while since I did Little Mell Fell so I'd forgotten just how good the views are from up there. Looks like the kids enjoyed themselves. They'll be begging you to take them up ALL the Wainwrights before long ...

that must be one of the best 'return on effort' I've ever seen, great views from such a short walk, good to see kids out in the hills in great weather

It has got to be the quickest top I have got to.The time includes waiting around for little legs.
