Rolling stone organised this trip to Knoydart which coincided with a fine weekend. The Corbetts were done over three days coming down to the sea on both evenings.

We headed straight up, from the bunkhouse end of the village, via the nut-shell path through a gate to ascend the steepish grassy slopes.

Very fine views outwards....this is the hill which dominates the landscape from the boat in from Mallaig.

A fine week-end out with the young folks.....a chance meeting with an elderly gentleman who has rowed across the vast oceans.....showering by candlelight....a cycle would be useful to reach the bridge before the path up to Mam Li.....a grand place to visit... had always in the past gone in from Kinloch hourn to reach Barrisdale.

Yep, I've not been to Inverie yet either. Always gone in from Barisdale/Sourlies. These three hills would make up a large part of my visit too :)

Always fancied the look of that ridge up Sgurr Choire Choinnichean - your photos confirm it should be good!

Cheers 8)

Great walk gaffr, was up Beinn Buidhe last year, truly is an amazing place, planning a 3 night camp in Knoydart later on, starting from Loch quioch side and ending up in Inverie for some prawns and wine, oww canny wait.
