Schiehallion

Was given the day off for the royal wedding so decided with the wife to head to the Sciehallion. So it was off at 11.30am to reach the car park at 2pm with the temperature rising the nearer we got. On arrival the car park was full but managed to park at the road side so we headed on up, glad I left that bit later to go up as everybody was coming down so we pretty much had it all to ourself. The weather was perfect a little hazy at times but still getting great views of Beinn a ghlo in the distance. Although very easy to climb it was still enjoyable specially with the summit view, a good day

Nice report csimbad. Like that last picture, makes it look a right beast.
Only 3 hours? That's good going for a Munro.

Thanks ChrisW, yes couldn,t believe the amount of cars that were there when we arrived thankfully everyone was coming down so it turned out pretty good.

Certainly a busy hill up there and you got some good views from the top. Looks like you had to walk past a veritable village of tents on the way up as well.

Yes the views were good, think the guys with the tents were the ones carrying out repairs on the path.
