we climbed the two munros on easter sunday which was my birthday this year. that made is a great birthday present from weather gods - it was dry the whole day although it looked like torrential rain was just about to start.
i already walked ben vorlich, but last time i wasnt really bothered to include stuc a'chroin - especially with my too small walking boots and blisters already building up.
we reached ben vorlich within 2.5hrs, had lunch, then walked down 20mins to the foot of the hill and approached and climbed stuc a'chroin within 1.5hrs . there was a little bit of scrambling, but nothing that would make us uncomfortable, to be honest that was something that brought a little bit of joy (as we havent done much scrambling in scotland before)
actually i was just about to name stuc a'chroin my fav mountain in scotland but then (last week) we walked ben more (mull, the ridge walk) and that is no 1 for me so far
