Definetly one of my favourite Munro's and if any of my friends who wanted to climb their first Munro, i would'nt hesitate to walk Sgor Gaoith to give them the 'Wow' factor when you reach the top looking down into Glen Einich

walked Sgor Gaoith with my good neighbour and fellow walking partner Andy and was definetly taken aback with the fantastic views from the top, with huge vertical drops and shear cliffs this definetly has the wow factor

Sgor Gaoith is a little boggy at the bottom but soon drys up past the tree line, good man made path for 3/4's of the way up and is one of the easier shorter Munro's, for me 4 out of 5.

Nice report which brought back happy memories. I climbed Sgor Gaoith on a Glenmore Lodge course a couple of years ago. We went over the ridge at the cairn at ate lunch out of the wind. As you note the views down to the Loch are truly breathtaking.... my photos and the recent piece on the Adventure Show fail to do it justice. I can also highly recommend mountain biking to the head of Loch Einich from Columbridge which I did last April with a small group of lads and dads.

must have missed that episode, damn, best programme on the telly...i've walked in to the loch from Whitewell and plan to cycle in with Valmer1965 to bag Cairn Toul, Angel's peak and Devils point without having to camp out over night at Corrour Bothy

Another favourite hill of mine, I've been up there 5 times and it's always good to see other folk's pics. Thanks.
My best visit was in March and after Sgor Gaoith and Sgoran Dubh Mor, we tobogganed on our bivvi bags a long way down the gully of the Allt a Chrom-Alltain, which was filled with deep snow - great fun.
