Hi all,
Thought i'd share my first munro with you and have a go at my first report as well.
Unfortunately its nothing too exciting to all you more experienced munro baggers
as its Ben Lomond.
Chose this one as i was doing it solo and knew it would be busy and the loch lomond munros
are the closest to home.
Left home at 10.40am and got to Rowardennan car park at 12.10pm.
Started on the tourist route at 12.15 and managed to get to the summit at 2.15
spent about half an hour on the summit and decided to head back down the ptarmigan ridge.
Cracking day and really enjoyed it.
A few photos of the day.

Nice one! This was my first Munro too. But was a horrible day so didn't see much. Been back since on a better day and it really is a great wee hill. Not done the ridge though so will need to go back again for that. That's you started now :D Only 282 to go

Cheers Jock
Weather was kind on the day
Views were great felt the pictures didn't do them justice.
Quite busy hill and if i ever do it again will go up the ptarmigan ridge way and down the tourist route.
Next stop though Arrochar alps

Hi sarahkirsty planning on doing the other side of the loch next, Beinn Ime and Beinn Narnain are the two that i am thinking about, not maybe at the same time though.
Thanks Merry-walker.

Hi Brizza when i was coming down ptarmigan couldn't help but think it would be a great way to climb the hill.
Hopefully get Ime and Narnain done this weekend.
Read your cobbler report as well, was the first hill i climbed but that was a while back now
Good luck to you as well
