Did this in the evening but the humidity was still high. Start at the new car park opposite the big cairn on the A82 before the road crosses the new bridge on The Chasm. Follow the path then after 10 minutes or so take the left hand fork and be prepared for some steep walking for the next while. To make this a bit more bareable there are stunning views down Glencoe and of the Aonach Eagach Ridge. Got to the summit of Stob Coire Raineach in just over an hour, to be fair a pretty uninspiring summit.
But stick with it, turn round and head to the other end of the ridge for Stob Dubh. Here you will have a fantastic view of Glen Etive and Buachaille Etive Mor and if the cloud is high enough Bidean nam Bian too. Turn round again, follow the path back to the junction where you popped up onto the ridge and follow the path back down. Much more pleasant and quicker going downhill! Did this in 2 3/4 hours and there was no one else on the hill. Tend to motor a bit when I'm on my own so maybe 4 hours is more realistic.
