This was my first long walk in the Pentlands this year. We parked at Flotterstone and did a cirular route over Turnhouse Hill, Carnethy Hill, Scald Law, South Back Hill, East Kip and West Kip and then back along the road around Loganlea and Glencorse Reservoirs. This was by far the best weather I have had so far this year - we even had some sun !!!

Here is our route and some pics...

Also walked in Pentlands on Saturday. At least I had the cold breeze helping me uphill. Walked from Red Moss car park over West Kip, East Kip, Scald Law, descend the zig zag then down by the howe and through Green Cleuch return to Red Moss. 2hr 55min. Also my 1st walk in Pentlands this year and enjoyed the exercise. Next week will be climbing a few of the Grahams and Donalds south of Peebles area.
Car park at Red Moss on my return was near full.
Thanks for so many pics
