As soon as I see your name as a thread starter, I always know I'm in for a treat! What a wonderful life to be able to travel around in your own boat visiting all these remote islands and inlets.

I actually read your text out aloud, it is so beautifully written! :shifty:
Photo # 3 is particularly impressive and the beach at Camas an Lighe is a perfect photograph. We adored the beaches on the Outer Hebrides (Harris and Berneray) and took some beautiful pictures and no one (outside Scotland that is) can place them. An incredibly wild and beautiful coastline you have there! Keep enjoying the beach bagging! :D

Thanks again for all your comments everyone. It is appreciated and I hope to stick around for a while again. I have a few reports that I can add since my last time here

Incidentally, at the other end of the scale.. this is the best sunrise I have ever witnessed and photographed. It was at Strollamus on the Isle of Skye.. December.. three years ago. I couldn’t believe the fiery colours.

The colours of all these photos have not been adjusted in photoshop..they are .. as it was on the day :-D

Thanks again for looking

I loved your pictures.
We were not too far from you on that evening, in Kinlochewe and also had a great sunset, but no Loch in front to set it off like yours.
Here's mine....

And a rainbow from the same spot a few days later....
