Had my eye on the weather all week as i wanted a familly walk at the weekend & had thought about one of the Arrochar Alps. Sunday looked the better day, so Sunday it was. Number 1 son declined my kind offer in favour of skateboarding with his mates, but my two girls accepted. This combination helped the hill choice as Jack has walked Narnain, but the girls had not.

Weather was realy good not to hot fairly cloudless with a lite breeze, lovely

Took the standard tourist route to the bealach between the three hills & staight up narnain from there & back the same way. Did wonder about cutting off from the path & heading up to the narnain ridge just below the spearhead, as i have gone this way before & is a bit more interesting. However did a little reckie & have never seen it so wet uderfoot before so decided to stick to the big path.

Summit for lunch & banter with other walkers & back the way we came.

Girls did well with Ella bagging her first Munro & Anna her fourth.

Excellent effort Johnny and the girls.
They can surely go to the top of the class and collect 5 stars. The weather was kind to you but what an effort from the young ones.

The boots do draw the eye & i certainly would not mess with them

Weather was good for pics so i lugged my slr up the hill, it always adds an extra dimension to the pics.

All my kids started with Conic Hill & the Wangie followed by Ben An before we moved on to higher ground.
Might be a while before they follow you through the eye though

On the relaxed front i'm always fine on the way up, but one of us always trips/falls on the way down

Sorry your weather was not so good last weekend, but the reports suggest a good time was had by all. I'm out this saturday & i think i'm gona get wet
