Ascent: 1531m
Register or Login free to be able to rate and comment on reports (as well as access 1:25000 mapping).did this the day after the cmd arete and the knee was playing up so we were going to go down after stob choire a chairn via the stalkers path that starts under sgor an lubhair down to polldudh car park so we missed out am bodach but when we got to the the proposed exit and saw what we we going to miss (devils ridge) we carried on over the ridge and sgurr a mhaim, great walk, great day, sun out all day makes up for all the clouds i have seen the inside of lately.

Best and hardest walk i have done in ages.
Would recommend it for anyone fit and experienced.
Don't bother doing its neighbour (Nevis)... Do this instead!

I wouldn't worry to much about missing Am Bodach, it will give you an excuse to return to do the ring or it's easily accessible from Kinlochleven linking it up with some more of the Mamores.

this is one of next years trips to link up a few from the kinlochleven side. stob ban looked good as did the two binneins, mor and beag. Any route ideas are greatfully received.
