turkish delight and back to boggy scottish sh?*e haha

After a week on holiday in turkey (which was brilliant),and my second week going past quick back home wanted to get out today before going back to work on monday,so had a look at weather last night and decided to go for glen coe area ,got up at 4.30 ,and was away by 5.00. driving in the dark hoping the deers would be sleeping and not walking on the road.got to bridge of orchy and stopped it was really windy the clouds were moving fast and i knew it was to rain for 1 o'clock. i didnt fancy being up on bidean in the wind, so with me still to do dorain and dothaidh decided to park up and go for it only probllem was i was early and had to wait half an hour for the light to come up, 6.35 i was on my way under the railway up the stairs and through the gate and onto the hillside, i followed the path alongside the burn and headed for the bealach,the sun was starting to rise yeehaa ,once i sweated out my turkish kebabs and effes beer from the week before i was at the bealach. i headed to dorain first making sure i passed all the cairns to make sure i was at summit . stopped for a bite to eat and got a phone call from alan s who must have been enjoying his work or he wouldnt have phoned , he then rubbed it in saying it was sunny where he was cause i was getting battered with the wind. packed up and headed for dothaid ,so back to bealach cairn and onwards to summit which was reached in no time gladly as the boggy path was doing ma nut in , passed four people on way back to the railway and carpark,even though i was covered in mud i was glad to get these two done and really enjoyed today and glad to be back in scotland ye canny beat it

Funny thing about the beer sweats, you get dehydrated and need a beer or two to get over it....the circle of life

Hi polly thanks, there is a cairn on the boggy path to dothaid i just headed straight to the right of it for the grassy slopes to get out of the bog

Hi monty, luckily we were in an appartment 3 flights up so carrying the wain in the buggy up and down kept the legs ticking over
