As in line with most of the reports I found this hill anything but boring. For someone looking for a relatively easy walk with a gradual ascent then Ben Chonzie certainly fits the bill. Its certainly nothing like any of the Monros I've climbed so far with its large flat summit with multiple cairns dotted here and there, ( Can anyone tell me why so many cairns?).
After the previous two weeks walking over pretty heavy ground its was a pleaseant change to be walking up a decent path. As described in WH the walk starts off on a well defined road leading onto a pathway.
Surprisingly the hill was realatively quiet for most of our walk, we only met one guy at the summit who had come up from the creiff end stating that the walk up from Invergeldie was boring, (each to their own I suppose).
As with most of my walks since taking up hill walking this year we were fortunate to have decent weather for most of the walk.
