Route description: Beinn Eighe (western summits)

Munros included on this walk: Ruadh-stac Mòr (Beinn Eighe), Spidean Coire nan Clach (Beinn Eighe)

Date walked: 17/02/2011

Time taken: 8 hours

Distance: 18.5 km

Ascent: 1200m

Having seen the report last month of this walk, I felt compelled join WH and share some photos I took of the exact same walk last February.
We followed the route from the site and had what I can only describe as one of the best winter days ever!

Mate that's fantastic, not often you get a day quite like that in the winter. I'm green with envy! Great photos.

Beautiful pictures - thanks for posting this rep, Beinn Eighe is my favourite mountain and I can't get enough of it :D :D I hope we will have some of that snowy-blue weather this winter!

I was on Ruadh Stac Beag almost exactly a year before, in identical conditions:
