Tacked on to the end of a day. You can spend anything from 15 minutes to 2 hours here.
Amazing hummocks.
One word of warning: The grass on the sides of the mounds is Slippery When Wet. I'm still digging the grassy bits out of my DSLR camera...

Wrote this whilst under the influence of jetlag, so not particularly articulate. Also, I only had the one photo that was any good.
My writing and photographic energies have been directed into the longer walks we did.

Looks a really weird place! It's amazing just how many 'Fairy Glens' there are in Scotland!

Yes, it is a weird place. The little hills and hummocks are so steep sided that they don't look natural.

Faeries, I reckon. Faeries.

Well the islands are certainly good for supernatural beings of one kind or another! Especially South Uist...
