Carn na Caim .... not such an ugly duckling

Date walked: 01/03/2013

Time taken: 5 hours

There once was a boring Munro with ground all stubby and brown
and the baggers said in so many words - phew I got that done
It was a grind and it was a bore but phew I got that done

All through the summer it hid itself away , while baggers came and went to all the nicer hills

then came the winter time , and a fall of snow
The snow turned to ice and made a very lovely coat

Then came a bagger - out to enjoy the sun
She said to Carn na Caim

Your not such an ugly Munro , you're a very fine hill indeed
Hold your head up high , you're a very fine hill indeed :D

Today was grand on Carn na Caim - a perfect hill day

the snow was hard , so no sinking in
Hardly a step was not on snow
Indeed on the ascent crampons were needed - although the sun got to it before my descent
follow my prints and enjoy

if it is your first winter Munro the savour it
