Route: Ben Vorlich and Stùc a' Chròin
Munros: Ben Vorlich (Loch Earn), Stùc a' Chròin

The plan was to do Stuc A Chroin only as we had done Vorlich earlier this year.
We met a hiker as we made our way from Loch Earn who advised us not to use the bealach (valley) as it was waist deep in mud.
We then decided to go to Stuc via the summit of Vorlich.
After descending Vorlich (300m) we used the zig zag route to avoid the scramble. The path was extremely tough as it had been damaged by last week's rain.
On our descent we decided to avoid going back via Vorlich and went the bealach way, thus avoiding the 300m ascent back up to Vorlich. The route although wet under foot was easily passible.
It you are only climbing Stuc then turn right after at 570m along the Vorlich path and follow the bog path. This will remove 400m from your climb.
