A Clunie wslk but no sign of George

Route: Clunie walk, Pitlochry

Date walked: 19/09/2017

Time taken: 3 hours

Distance: 11.5km

Wanting a restfull day but to still keep the legs moving we decided to follow the Clunie path.

Walked it clockwise and did manage to see the elusive red squirrel which was a bonus.

Once out of the forest we ventured out onto the bleak featurless open moorland that has been ploughed with a view to being planted.

As a result of the on going work on the electric pylons we soon found our selves trudging along and through a muddy slippery track.

A bit dissapointed in the walk and we actually wish we had done a linear to Strathtay instead as an option.

Still we were out in the open fresh air of our home from home.
