WALK TOWARDS ( and back ), OR HIKE TO... [ this way is shorter than the long flat path along the Fyne Glen and river ] >>> From the Loch Fyne Oysters Bar carpark take path on right along the main road, ( or could start from there, on the path at the bend of the road ,)turn inland, along some buildings and the canal, walk to the Clachan power station, turn right and go over the bridge, wind your way through the " Sand and Gravel " works, take the path after the works, turn left ( inland and up ) at / just before the crossing paths of the flat path leading to the farm... easy wide path, climbing walk through the Mark / Merk Park ( gate at entrance AND other at exit of this wood / forest ), then resuming clear unwooded view path up the slope >>> path ends. Either stop your walk here ( still easy walk with nice views ), and return the same way, or harder hike to Beinn Bhuidhe: walk through moor, then rejoin the usual( longer walking) path around halfway mark by turning left onto it ( do not go straight ahead at the crossroad up the " blind " no-end-path, nor right back down to Fyne Glen again ) to Beinn Bhuidhe.
