Last day before heading back to work . Couple of Donald's short day.
Parked at Glenochar wee car park
and walked down the road over the fence, across the wee bridge and onto the " track " leading to the cut uphill point
Just keep heading steeply up the pathless hill , heather bashing and you'll reach the fence; followed the fence to a junction and got across it to the trig still in the mist.
I'd forgotten how steep the descent was coming diwnfrom Louise wind law and back up to Black law!!!
Eventually got up 😄 and a case again of following the fence to dun Law and its massive cairn.
Fom here followed the fence down a wee bit and got over. Make your mind up here, go right or left of the corrie.
Left ( north ) is the better option- imo.
You'll see a large sheep pen , head for that, get over the wee stream just befire it and the track is there , leading back again.
Saw one other lad skylining up to Louise wood law.
No a bad walk wee walk. It's always good to get out.
Curlews, grouse, buzzards, peewits , and what made my day was a kite over the other side of the M74 as I headed back
Ascent= guesstimate
