I've often seen the brown sign for the Hermitage when travelling up and down the A9 for many years but never taken the time to stop and explore.
Lovely varied walk on a sunny Spring day. Architecture of the Hermitage and the beautiful gorge, open hillside and forest.
I started and finished the walk from the centre of Dunkeld after walking and spectating at the Birnham hill race.
