Glenan Forest and shore
Route: Glenan Bay, Portavadie
Date walked: 27/10/2020
Time taken: 2 hours
Distance: 3.5km
Checked the route before leaving and thought it would be a bit muddy in places but how wrong I was! The whole route was challenging for us oldies with many a challenging slippery rocks to negotiate. The mud was up up over our boots and it was energy sagging.
Once we reached the bay our hard slog was rewarded with the seals just off shore playing blissfully with each other. Very special!
Overall I would do the walk again but when and if it drys out!
