Water of Leith
Route: Water of Leith: Slateford to Leith
Date walked: 28/03/2015
Time taken: 4.45 hours
Distance: 21km
First walk of the year and the training for the West Highland Way has begun!
Just under 13 miles, but a beautiful city walk and close to home walk to ease myself in. I've wanted to walk the full Water of Leith walk for some time and now I have. I love that you are walking through a city but apart from the odd time when you come up from the water side it doesn't feel like you are. It's a lovely way to see another side of the city.
Lots of beautiful snowdrops and crocuses along the way also.
Perfect walk!
