Well if we'd followed Mr Monk's advice we'd have stayed at home. In fact, despite the menacing black clouds racing about a brooding sky when we set off, we had the whole route dry. There was a bracing wind which increased as we climbed and like everywhere else, the ground was sodden, but nothing yetis couldn't deal with. No photos yet but may post later. Lovely outing for this time of year, brilliant to see it before the wind farms destroy yet another wild sanctuary.
Oh and the best bit: Laggan's coffee shop was open and serving luscious coffee and cakes. A must if you're venturing this way.
