Time taken: 3.5 hours
Ascent: 500m
Beinn Churalain
Locally known as Creagan Hill, this little gem of a walk is great short afternoon hike, but don't underestimate that it's still tough little hike, but super worthwhile.
Start at the little gated entrance on the left after the roundabout before the farmhouse on the right.
Take a right up the landie track until you reach the cattle feeder. Head straight up the path less slopes until you find the hidden graveyard.
Wow what a awesome view this graveyard has, and lots of very old local families resting up here, I want to be one of them, please bury me here.
Head from the back of the graveyard up the fence line through boggy terrain then follow the burn.
Keep heading up and up until you fancy taking a left up the steeper slope through some trees.
Then onto Heather moorland keep heading up.
Once you reach the summit ridge the top is visible.
Views from the summit are awesome, across to the munros of beinn sgulaird and across to Glen etive, and also back down the loch towards oban and appin across appin to the right.
Awesome place, and don't forget to go to Creagan Inn for amazing food and drinks afterwards, be sure to tell Duncan and Isabell you've climbed it for some kudos
