Conditions: intermitent showers and no clouds. Windy at second summit. Cloud free for both munros.
Notes: started from bunkhouse. First ascent was gradual and began with a track which became an easy to follow path at turning for much of the way up. Path disappeared near top but easy navigation to first Munro (Carn Dearg). Good paths all the way to second munro (Sgor Gaibhre). Again ascent was pretty gradual and easy going. Rocky on descent from this Munro and was very windy so quite hard going. Good path and easy ascent to the twin top (Sgor Chonnich) but again was very windy. First part of final descent was easy and gradual with path becoming steeper, boggier and hard going about half way down. Almost missed the gate to get out of deer fence. Very boggy between fence and road which was slightly soul destroying as the road seemed so near. 3 mile walk out along track adjacent to loch, very pretty but long.
