A visit to Skye in June...Camping at Glen Brittle gives you a great view of the Cuillin with easy access.. As per the books my companion and I decided to climb Bruach na Frithe as they state this is the easiest to climb...

With sun tan lotion applied we walked in from Glen Brittle, midges were apparent when the breeze died down... Not taking the conventual track we had quite a bit of scrambling to do to reach the peak. As i had never done any real scrambling before i was guided by my companion who was at times like a mountian goat going off at speed when i found it easier to go slow and methodical. Truth be known im not great with heights, not helped when bits of rock fly past you..

At the peak some amazing views cut short by midges. Easier walk back down on the track..
