Lousie Wood and Dun Law

Well only in writing up this report did I realise that the hill is call Lousie and not Louise. According to the online Scots dictionary, it means infested with lice. Oh dear! If I had known that ...
Warm but windy day so not too bad for walking in.
Parked at the carpark for the Glenochar Bastle and met T. Headed through the gate expecting to see a path to the Bastle but field quite overgrown so could not see anything so just headed down to the bridge crossing the burn and the track on the other side. Lots of sheep with lambs about. Just as we were heading through the final gate, spotted a lamb on the other side of the gate/fence trying to get back in to see its mother. Neither seemed able to negotiate the gate/fence so did a bit of sheep gathering by going up the hill beyond the lamb and coaxing it back through the gate, held open by T and then **** when lamb went through. Mother and lamb seemed happy to see each other.
At the point headed up the hill towards Coupland Gair.
and from there up to Lousie Wood itself.
From there it was over to Black Law across the wonderfully named Little Windgate Haas.
