Started off on the Sgurr nan Gillean path, up from the Sligachan Hotel/Mountain Rescue base. Scrambled up to the right of Bhaister Gorge onto one of the spurs. Along the arete, heading for Am Baister/Baister Tooth. Couldn't see a way up onto Am Baister, only 15 minutes of scrambling held me from the summit, rather annoying but steep scree slopes on either side, put me off attempting it. Turned back along the ridge over to Bruach na Frithe's trig point and stunning views over to the Innaccessible Pinnacle. What a day!
