MY first ever Munros!

Route: Buachaille Etive Beag

Munros: Stob Coire Raineach (Buachaille Etive Beag), Stob Dubh (Buachaille Etive Beag)

Date walked: 21/05/2017

Time taken: 4 hours

Ascent: 900m

So... Hey, this is my first time writing up one of these.

Had a great experience climbing my first ever Munros yesterday(Saturday 20/5/17).

Still not particularly sure why we picked these ones specifically as a starting off point, think we wanted something not too hard, but not too easy either.

Anyway needless to say my lack of fitness(and slight hangover from Friday night) made this harder than I really expected it to be. I was panting and wheezing before I even made it up the steps, but after pushing up them to the spot in between the two peaks and stopping for a quick snack, the rest fell into place.

The weather was overcast and drizzly, but that made for some awesome moments where the clouds just rolled in and we couldn't see 5 feet in front of us at times!

I think, climbing the two peaks themselves, after the steps was the easiest part.

Anyway, I'll shut up and throw some pictures up here for you's! All in all it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience and I'm planning my next trip as I write this. I may be hooked.

My first Munros done, definitely not my last!

Just a pic I took on the way, passing Loch Lomond

Falls of Falloch, also on the way
