Beautiful place but the path was flooded

Route: Loch Sligachan

Date walked: 08/04/2018

Distance: 0.5km

It was a nice day and we decided to walk this route starting from Braes road (and not the other way, described here: https://www.walkhighlands.co.uk/skye/sligachanloch.shtml) to avoid crossing the streams.
The road leading to the route was beautiful so it was worth arriving there - sea, sheep, and also dogs crossed our way.

Then we arrived to the route and started walking, but we had a hard time finding the path. The terrain was very boggy and even what seemed like a path was flooded with water. Our old waterproof boots were not so waterproof anymore, so after a few minutes we turned back to the car. Maybe the good path was ahead but we didn't want to get wet...
Anyway the loch and the surrounding area are very beautiful so it's a nice place to visit.
