Ben More

Route: Ben More via A' Chioch and Beinn Fhada

Munros: Ben More (Mull)

Date walked: 17/04/2010

Climbed this 2 years ago with my mate Neil. Was his 1st Munro and came as a shock as he did not expect such a scramble - repeated of course as our ascent from Loch Na Keal features the groundhog day ascent of A' Chioch first. We had ascended in clouds and upon nearing the summit of Ben More we had an epihany, the clouds lifted to reveal the local hills and the Hebridean Isles in all their glory. The rise in temperature that accompanied the cloud lifting was utterly amazing, gave me quite a thirst on the descent
