Combining Island & Munroe bagging
Route: Ben More (Mull) from Dhiseig

Time taken: 6 hours

Ascent: 1208m
This is a report I wasn’t going to write , as no decent photos, an uninspiring walk in cloud and drizzle , but it’s a record of one of my final ten Munroes

If only we could have swapped it with other day we came to Mull, compare this picture of the Lismore Lighthouse with the one about a week later, when we came as foot passengers & public transport as we had never been to Tobermory

The reason being there was only one date during our stay near Oban when we could get an early ferry crossing with the car

So we had to come on the poor weather day to ‘bag’ the Munroe, when we came a week later it was glorious , see the other picture of the Lighhouse, so good that we have asked a local artist to do a painting of it for us

However because we were staying near Oban we decided it was time to get moving on “island bagging”., and hadn’t even been to Mull.
Enjoy, if that’s the right word for the pictures

We did see the hill in the afternoon, when it decided to put in an appearance.

Not very warm at the summit

Then back down in the drizzle

Then the mountain put in an appearance

A lady who had passed us as we were coming down, caught us up & took a pic for us

Then back on the ferry, enjoy the lighthouse picture from a week later
