Drove through Dalmally and turned right onto the B8077 parked in the lay-by on the left just over the bridge and by Castle farm house . Walked back towards the bridge and turned right to access the hills up the track . Three enthusiastic collie farm dogs welcomed me jumping around me barking continued walking and talking to them . The farmer called them off and we exchanged friendly waves . Continued up the path turned right to go through 2 gates up into Glen Noe . Highland cattle everywhere but friendly if you’ve not got a dog .Followed the path up and over the Allt Mhoille bridge turn next right until a small cairn on left following the path up to the bealach turn left and walk to the summit cairn . MWIS and BBC weather report was for dry and clear till 3pm , but at 700 meters cloud and rain rolled in at 9 am. Thank goodness the ridge was pathed out apart from a 150 meter section on a flattish section before the drop to the bealach before the final climb to Beinn Eunaich . Because of poor visibility I retraced the path to the bealach and walked down easy slopes following the stream to the main Allt Mhoille river and the path out , realising I’d walked through the farm road rather than the quieter track on the way in . Schoolboy error . The path you should use is just over the bridge and has a cattle grid at it .
