Milngavie to Drymen - WHW Pt 1

Thought I'd pack in some long distance practice on a reasonably overcast but pleasant Thursday. And what a pleasant walk this was - got the train to Milngavie and set off through the town centre to the start point which isn't hard to miss 
The course was a pleasant mix of country park and ex - railway routes that culminated in a little up and down around the outskirts Drymen. The views of Dumgoyne (NEMISIS) were great and was tempted to pop in to the brewery for another wee dram but resisted.
I would say this is likely to be one of the less challenging parts of the WHW but I'll only find out for sure when I give the rest a try! A proud and simple walk thats very much recommended.
