After some overnight light rain the hills started to clear

A fairly dull, wet, and in places very steep climb lead to a large cairn NOT on the top of the hill. The summit was a little further over and quite windy. Check out the dogs ears.

Dispite the summit and walk up having little to recommend it, the walk around the ridge showed that it had more to offer than first impressions.

The walk out wasnt too back and the decent not too steep which made a nice change.
We abandonded the rest of the day. I, for one, had nothing left in my legs and just wanted a pint at Applecross. The beach at Applecross had a herd of Red Deer on the red sands.
