Findochty to Cullen Bay

Route: Cullen Bay and Portknockie circuit

Date walked: 22/01/2017

Time taken: 5 hours

Distance: 14km

We started in Findochty and walked through Portknockie to Cullen and back again. You could continue onto Portsoy and get the bus back to Findochty. Even though this is a coastal path it is a very easy and fairly flat walk. These fishing villages are the most beautiful places I have ever seen and on this walk you get to see sandy beaches, strange rock formations, a viaduct and villages. If you continued to Portsoy then Findlater castle would be another fabulous view point. Highly recommend this part of the Moray Aberdeenshire coast for walking. Thanks again to WH for a great walking idea away from the mountains.
