Mad Cows on Byne Hill
Route: Byne Hill, Girvan
Date walked: 19/04/2016
Time taken: 1 hour
Distance: 3km
Ascent: 50m
A word of warning, me and my dog were attacked by the herd of cows halfway up this walk today. Thankfully no serious injuries but both a bit shaken up! No obvious signs that there were even cows in the field until we came over a small hump and saw them. There were calves which I'm assuming is why the cows reacted. Dog was on the lead and barely taking an interest too. Oh and I lost a shoe if anyone is brave enough to go up there and retrieve it for me (Cheap shoe but expensive insole!)...
