Storm damage - Rob Roy Way - Aberfoyle to Callander.
Route: Rob Roy Way: Aberfoyle to Callander
Date walked: 03/01/2022
Distance: 16km
Walked this yesterday (2nd January 2022) with my daughter Karen.
Second time I have done it. First time I used the 'old' route at the start through the Dounans Centre. 'New' route is somewhat more pleasant.
Main reason for writing is to advise of the number of trees down across the path in the private forestry (Stage 3 of the route description). It is possible for walkers to get over / round / under them, but I don't think it would be passable for cyclists / horse riders.
Also a few smaller trees across the path before the Lochan - much easier to get round.
Hopefully the route will be cleared before long.
