Return to Schiehallion after 60 Years

10 years ago I wrote this report of our return to Schiehallion after 50 years.

For 15 years now Richard Henderson and I have met up at least once a year to go to the hills. Sometimes just the 2 of us but usually with various members of our families including grand children.
So while climbing Beinn Ghlas and Ben Lawers last Year we hatched the plan to return to Schiehallion for a 60th anniversary walk up Schiehallion. We contacted Brian Renwick who agreed to try it again.
So it was that Richard, Brian and I from the ascent in 1962 plus my granddaughter Kirsty who was with us in 2012, Brian's son Peter, granddaughter Ella May (aged eight) and 4 dogs met up at the Braes of Foss car park.
This time we walked up from the car park and down the same way. It was a thoroughly enjoyable day out and we all from the youngest to the oldest managed to do it although the younger ones graciously went at the pace the oldies could manage and returned with a bit more spring in their step!
