Mayar and Driesh
Munros: Driesh, Mayar
Date walked: 27/05/2023
Time taken: 4 hours
One of my best days in the mountains.
Left Hamilton around 6am arriving at the Glen Clova car park about 8:30am. Stunning drive up the Glen to the car park.
It's a lovely walk up the through the forest until you arrive at Corrie Fee wow what a place. It's a great walk through Corrie Fee then you start to climb up to the ridge.
It didn't take me long to reach the 1st summit of the day Mayar and officially my half way point on the Munro count. I didn't hang about as it was a bit windy.
Its a good walk over to Driesh taking in the stunning landscape and views around.
There is a bit of an accent to reach the summit but its enjoyable. Driesh summit has a good shelter which I ducked down into away from the wind.
This was an enjoyable outing with some of the best landscape around so it's a 10 from me
