dungavel hill
Date walked: 24/12/2012
Time taken: 1 hour
Ascent: 260m
after getting all my xmas preperations done early, well for me anyway, i thought i deserved a couple of short walks to blow the cobwebs away. first up was dungavel hill,
i turned off the A702 at roberton and followed the road to its highest point at a cattle grid. there is a good bit of parking either side of the cattle grid but a sign on the gate warns of bulls with calves and strictly no entry. i took a good look around, a very, very good look around and decided to take the chance. the actual walk only takes about half an hour to the summit but will get you huffing and puffingClick to mark this as a great report.
