after getting all my xmas preperations done early, well for me anyway, i thought i deserved a couple of short walks to blow the cobwebs away. first up was dungavel hill, i turned off the A702 at roberton and followed the road to its highest point at a cattle grid.
there is a good bit of parking either side of the cattle grid but a sign on the gate warns of bulls with calves and strictly no entry.
i took a good look around, a very, very good look around and decided to take the chance. the actual walk only takes about half an hour to the summit but will get you huffing and puffing
