Nothing new with this walk but Glencoe and the Buachaille Etive Mor never fails to deliver and when you have the first snow of winter and clear blue sky then there are few places better for a mornings walk. Starting from Altnafeadh the tourist route up the corrie was straight forward on a good path covered with a light dusting off snow.

It was great to get out of the corrie shadow and enjoy the sunshine and spectacular views as we head for the first top.

View across Rannoch

We were the first visitors to arrive at the summit cairn since the snow had arrived and the views were stunning. Turning south we headed along the ridge to Stob na Doire and then onto the second munro of Stob na Broige.

Our route saw us retracing our steps to the col south of Stob na Doire and head north down into Lairig Gartain for the return back to the car. A great day and looking forward another cracking winter.
