First walk report from a few weeks ago. Good views from these Munros over to the snow covered higher Lawers hills.
Meall a'Choire Leith, Meall Corranaich - the last two hills in the Ben Lawers group. Arrived after 10am and was surprised to find there were no others cars at the wee car park at base of walk.
Easy enough start but going was very boggy Nice views over to Meall nan Tarmachan.
Conditions improve as it gets steeper on final pull to Meall Corranaich.
First glimpse of Ben Lawers covered in dusting of snow.
Meall Corranaich summit ahead with one man and his dog at the top.
Nice photo opportunity with Ben Lawers behind.
Visibility excellent with Ben Nevis in distance.
Could almost be on Ben Lawers.
Meall Corranaich cairn.
Path clear ahead over to Meall a'Choire Leith avoiding the wrong spur which one man and his dog appeared to take though did not seem to slow them down much!
Flat top of Meall a'Choire Leith looking back to Ben Lawers.
An Stuc.
Nice place for a snack at the top of Meall a'Choire Leith.
Nice view of Tarmachan Ridge on way down with Ben More in distance.
The path back from Meall a'Choire Leith to start is very boggy!
