Yes you guessed it Ben Vane of course, leaving her indoors with her pal eating bunting and sorry cumber sandwiches and hanging the bunting!! While the boys head west....

Early start from Dunfermline at 6:30am and arrived at Inveruglas for 8:30. This would be my sixth ascent of Ben Vane but today my mate Brian was being introduced to this his first Munro.
A cracking forecast, clear skies and plenty of sunshine, I use the MWIS .org very reliable forecasting.
Well the long trudge into the mountain past the electrical lines and we we are on our way. 20 years may have past for me but the place has not changed. The path, sure still eroded, but no change in 20years!!!

So its onwards and upwards but always time to fit in a picture of Ben Lomond and Loch Lomond

Just time to stop have a cuppa and a cucumber sandwich, kindly packed into my rucky without my knowledge just so we dont forget the wedding! And while we are at it another photo opperchancity!! cracking weather folks look what you missed sitting there in front of the box watchin Wills and Kate!!!
