2nd failed attempt at Lochnagar

Route: Lochnagar from Glen Muick

Munros: Lochnagar

Distance: 19km

Tried to do this one on Sunday 24/01/2016 but the first river crossing was impossible - it was far to deep, fast flowing and strong. We then decided to head back and ascend the descent path. The snow conditons just beyond the waterfall were awful and the going was tough! We made about 300m in 15 mins and were thigh deep in super soft/ slushy snow for a lot of it so just turned back.
Hopefully it will be 3rd time lucky whenever I make it back...
