Moruisg and a Trip to A&E

Don't normally do public Walk Reports
However decided to put this one up more as a general warning of when things can go wrong when you are least expecting it.
On Saturday 22nd Oct doing Moruisg as a sole walker
The path up is as per WH Wet , there is no getting away from that but NOT as bad as I thought it could be.
3/4 (Not even that far) of the way up there is a gully just after the small water fall.
Path goes up the side of the gully which is full of rocks.
The path its self is quite wet on the left hand side but a bit dryer on the right hand side
Got to a small Zig Zag left and then found the path giving way and me ending up 3 meters down in the gully full of Rocks !
Thankfully did not pass out on hitting the rocks with my head
But did get a gash on top of my head and a fair amount of blood.
Rucksack off and First Aid kit out
Applied First Aid dressing
Then long crape Bandage , looking like a mummy from a horror film
Thankful nothing else even bruised or broken including my glasses which had gone flying.
As it was a head would and seemed quite a bit of blood did phone 999
Police / Mounting rescue agreed to phone every 30 min to make sure that I got down to the car.
Took about 1hr 30 min going quite slow to get down to the car.
Sort my very Wet boots and then had a better look at the head.
As I felt fine and talking to the police both agreed should go to Inverness A&E
Which was approx. 40 miles drive
A&E very quite in and out with in 1hr 30 min
With 5 Stiches for my troubles
Morel of the story always be prepared and expect the worst
My thanks to Police Scotland for there time and understanding and Raigmore A&E (Inverness)
