Had a great weekend taking in both the Beinn Eighe and Liathach traverses. Camped overnight on the grassy bealach just south of Ruadh-Stac Mòr. It was a beautiful evening as we watched the sun set and the clouds roll in from the sea.
The next morning we headed south down the scree slope from Coinneach Mhòr toward Coire Dubh Mòr. It was hard going but it shaved a few km off.
Drove onto the parking area at the bottom of Liathach. Just looking up and having read the WH walk description filled us with trepidation! Luckily the weather was pretty kind to us again and it made for an unforgettable day - even took in my 100th Munro at Mullach an Rathain. The Am Fasarinen pinnacles will stay with me for a long time.
